Feras Al-Rowaie has a masters from University of Liverpool (United Kingdom). He is a father of three and yet finds time to do a Ph.D. More Information.
Melissa Barazendegan Melissa Barazandegan has bachelors and masters degrees from Sharif University (Tehran, Iran). She is currently doing Ph.D. under the supervision of Profs. Ezra Kwok and Bhushan Gopaluni. She recently became a mother of a cute son. More Information.
2010Fatemeh Fateme Ekram has bachelors and masters from Sharif University (Tehran, Iran). She is working towards her Ph.D. on developing novel control algorithms for type II diabetes patients. More Information
  Navid Ghaffari has a bachelors degree in chemical engineering from Ryerson university (Toronto, Canada). He is currently working towards a masters with Profs. Jamie Piret and Bhushan Gopaluni. More Information.
 Ramin Ramin Khoie is a MASc. student working on developing a magnetic sensor to detect impeller wear in industrial pumps (primary supervisor: Prof. Boris Stoeber of MECH).
 Qiugang Lu  Qiugang Lu is a university Gold medalist from Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He is working towards a PhD on adaptive control of paper machines.
 Hui Tian Hui Tian is working towards a PhD on economic and distributed model predictive controllers with applications in the pulp and paper industry.
